2010 Small Business "SUCCESS" Award Winner

On June 10th, 2010, Global Business Solutions was awarded the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Small Business Success Award for Professional Services.

Established in 1996, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Small Business "Success" Awards were designed to recognize small businesses that have demonstrated the growth, financial stability, community involvement, resourcefulness and the creativity needed to achieve success in their chosen industries. Each year through an in-depth application process, more than 100 nominees are narrowed to 18 outstanding small businesses. For the past four years, Global Business Solutions has been a finalist for this award, but it is only this year that we have won.

Global Business Solutions is proud to have been selected as a finalist so frequently, and to have finally won this prestigious award. We will continue to strive for excellence in the field of Information Technology and look we forward to serving the Northern Kentucky community for years to come.

2010 Tristate Success Awards Winner

In April of this year, Global Business Solutions was designated a 2010 Tristate Success Awards Winner by Cincy Magazine, the leading business magazine for Cincinnati professionals. This award honors Greater Cincinnati businesses that have grown in the past year, increased their profitability, and have been vetted by their peers in the local business community. 2010 is the inaugural year for this award and we are proud to have received this word, particularly when considered in the economic contexts of 2009. We congratulate the other 2010 winners of the Tristate Business Awards, and we wish them continued success into the future.

Each year, the Business Courier of Cincinnati honors the fifty-five fastest growing companies from the Greater Cincinnati region. The companies selected for this award must meet a variety of criteria, including a significant growth in size, an increase in profitability, and a commitment to the ongoing growth of the company. This year GBS has been selected as one of 2009's fastest-growing, Greater Cincinnati businesses. We are proud that our growth has been acknowledged, and particularly proud of this achievement within the context of this year's economic tribulations. We look forward to 2010 and the new and exciting opportunities it brings.

Better Business Bureau Accreditation

Without trust, it is impossible for businesses to form beneficial, long term relationships with each other. Global Business Solutions is proud to have earned the Better Business Bureau's highest rating. We achieved this rating in 2004 and we strive to keep this rating by conducting our business with the highest ethical standards, honoring any promises we have made, focusing on both our responsiveness and our truth in advertising.

Community Involvement

We at Global Business Solutions firmly believe in giving back to the community. Through the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, we are able to connect to the needs of small and medium businesses on both sides of the river and understand the unique needs and situations of their environments. Through partnerships with non-profit organizations, we are further able to contribute to the community development and the advancement of technology in our area.

We are proud of our Community involvement. Each of our employees contributes to the community, making small but lasting steps towards the betterment of our community. Volunteering and philanthropic activities are an important part of our company culture. Following is a detailed list of our contributions:

• American Diabetes Association – Nael Mabjish participates in various fundraising committees with the Association, including Art Gala event which raised over $100,000 in one event.
  


• Family-to-Family – This organization helps impoverished families in the United States receive basic food, household, and school items. Mr. Mabjish volunteers for the organization.
  


• St. Joseph School – Our employees are committed to this local school, organizing their food drives, and other fundraising activities.
  


• CinciMINIs of Greater Cincinnati –Gaby Batshoun is greatly involved with this organization and devotes a considerable amount of his time promoting the club. His responsibilities include maintaining the organizations website and organizing various drives for charity.
  


• MDA Charity Lockup Drive – Every year, Mr. Batshoun participates in Muscular Distrophy Association lockup program during which he raises thousands of dollars to contribute to the organization and its cause.
  


• MS Society – Mr. Mabjish is a contributor to the MS Society.
  


• Other misc. – Many of our employees participate in other activities: coaching softball, soccer, and baseball teams, volunteering with the Church activities, and other fundraising events.
